Milan rolled over South Decatur 30-6 in the middle school football season opener last night. The Indians will be back in action Tuesday at South Dearborn.

Batesville defeated Franklin County 165-200 in girls golf yesterday. Ava South led the Bulldogs by shooting a 38. Zoey Ahern was close behind with a 39 and Emma Weiler carded a 40.

Union County downed East Central 195-205. The Trojans Rowan Pies took medalist honors by shooting a 35.

East Central will recognize the 2004 State runner up boys’ soccer team at tomorrow’s match vs. Oldenburg. That team from 20 years ago went 21-2-1. We’ll have this year’s edition of Twisters at the Trojans tomorrow at 2 p.m. on 103.9 FM, wrbiradio.com and the WRBI app.

The Reds open a three-game weekend series tonight against the Kansas City Royals at Great American Ball Park. Coverage begins at 6:10 on 103.9 WRBI.

The 2025 Major League Baseball spring training schedule has been announced, and the Reds will begin Cactus League play on Saturday, February 22 in split-squad action with one game at Goodyear Ballpark against Cleveland and another game on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Redlegs will play a total of 15 games at Goodyear Ballpark, including three matchups against their in-state rivals from Cleveland.

The Bengals take on the Chicago Bears in NFL preseason action tomorrow at Soldier Field. Kickoff is at 1:00.

The Colts entertain the Arizona Cardinals. That game will kick off at Lucas Oil Stadium tomorrow night at 7.

The WNBA made it official yesterday and announced that next year’s All-Star Game will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday, July 19, 2025. It will be the first time the Circle City has hosted the league’s midseason showcase.
