The Ripley County Community Foundation, through its Ripley Youth Outreach program, is thrilled to bring their annual chalk art competition, Chalktoberfest, back for a 5th year! The event will take place on Saturday, September 21 and invites local middle and high school students to showcase their artistic talents by creating chalk murals. This year, students will be challenged to create Interactive Murals.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to work alongside local art teachers, who will serve as professional artists, providing guidance and drawing their own impressive murals. Registration is now open, and we encourage aspiring young artists to secure their spots soon, as space is limited to 15 students. There are exciting prizes up for grabs, with cash awards for the top three junior high winners and the top three high school winners.
The Ripley County Community Foundation is thrilled to be bringing Chalktoberfest to Osgood in conjunction with Bricktoberfest. We invite the public to come out and enjoy the vibrant artworks!
