Prescott Announces State Education Scholarship

Indiana State Representative J.D. Prescott is encouraging families with students who have disabilities to apply for Indiana’s Education Scholarship Account.

The program gives monetary scholarships to students with disabilities and that money can be used for educational needs to best accommodate the student. Funds cover pre-approved needs such as therapy, tuition, and curricular materials. Prescott says the scholarship helps parents provide the best schooling for their children with disabilities. Students between the ages of 5 and 22 who reside in Indiana and meet all necessary requirements are eligible to receive up to $20,000.

Applications are available until September 1 and can be found at in.gov.
