(Batesville, IN) – At least one person was taken to the hospital after a semi crashed on eastbound I-74 near Batesville Tuesday afternoon.
All lanes were blocked for about an hour-and-a-half, and the interstate fully reopened around 2:45 p.m.
However, the wreck caused eastbound traffic to come to a standstill for several miles.
The circumstances surrounding the crash and the condition of the injured person were not available as of Wednesday morning.
Batesville Fire and Rescue and the Batesville Police Department responded to the scene.
