(Ripley County, IN) – The Ripley County Community Foundation (RCCF) awarded a total of $194,155 in scholarships to Class of 2024 graduating high school seniors from all over Ripley County.

“Investing in our future generation is paramount to the success of Ripley County,” said Janice Lamping, Program Coordinator of the Ripley County Community Foundation. “Scholarship opportunities can make a life-changing difference for students facing financial barriers to higher education. By helping them achieve their academic goals, we’re not only empowering individuals, but also enriching the entire community.”

The RCCF says a well-educated population is essential for a thriving rural community, and that college graduates contribute to a stronger workforce, a more vibrant economy, and a more engaged citizenry.

Administering scholarships is a core aspect of the RCCF’s mission. Through the generosity of donors who establish scholarship funds, the Community Foundation is able to connect deserving students with the financial resources they need to pursue their educational dreams.
