Derrick “Duke” Marcum, 41, of Aurora, IN, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Cleves, Ohio.
He was born March 29, 1983, in Lawrenceburg, IN, son of Fielding Marcum and Beverly (Corcoran) Marcum.
Derrick worked for Vickers Sheet Metal, and he did various jobs in the shop. He was a man of many talents, if it needed done, he could do it.
Derrick loved his family, especially his kids and grandkids. He was a big Bengals fan, enjoyed fishing and loved wolves.
Derrick is survived by his parents, Fielding and Beverly; brother, Patrick (Kelly) Marcum; sister, Leslie (Mike) Cecil; children, Jasmine Marcum, Paige Marcum, Bryan, Dakota & Emerson; grandchildren, Raelynne Tigney, and Ja’Mar Tigney; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 11 am – 1 pm at the Bear Creek Baptist Church, 953 Friendship Road, Friendship, IN.
A memorial service will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Sherman Hughes officiating.
