(Tipton, IN) – Batesville Tool & Die (BTD) has acquired Tipton-based DC Coaters, and rebranded the business as BTD Tipton.
The acquisition was finalized in 2023, and company officials say it marks a significant milestone in BTD’s’ strategic growth plan to enhance service offerings and expand market reach for the automotive and transportation sectors.
As part of the company’s expansion initiative, BTD Tipton will add a state-of-the-art, 35,000 square foot building, in addition to the current 40,000 square foot facility.
BTD officials say the new building, scheduled for completion by the end of July, will serve as the cornerstone for future growth and development in North Central Indiana.
“We are thrilled to announce the acquisition and expansion of our Tipton operations under the BTD brand,” said Jody Fledderman, BTD CEO. “This strategic move not only strengthens our ability to deliver exceptional metalworking solutions but also positions us for continued success in the marketplace.”
With the new facility set to bolster production capabilities and accommodate increased e-coating demand, the company remains dedicated to serving as a trusted partner for all metalworking needs for customers.
Company officials add the expansion of BTD Tipton reflects BTD’s ongoing commitment to innovation, quality, and success through continuous improvement.
They add the new facility will bolster production capabilities and accommodate increased e-coating demand, and that the company remains dedicated to serving as a trusted partner for customers’ metalworking needs.
