Alma Rosella Campbell, 87 of Westport

Alma Rosella Campbell, 87, of Westport, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Morning Breeze Health Campus in Greensburg. She was born on May 26, 1937 in Alert, Indiana the daughter of Wilbur and Edna Mae (Jayne) Dean. She was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and was a member of Alert Global Methodist Church. She enjoyed doing plastic canvas, quilting, puzzles and gardening. Alma married Clifford Dale Campbell in Alert on January 30, 1955. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1994. Survivors include her 3 daughters,  Barbara (James) Creamer and  Rosemary (Randy) Murphy both of Westport and Linda Creamer of Greensburg; a son, Joe (Paulette) Campbell of Greensburg; 16 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Timothy Campbell; a brother, John R. Dean; grandson, Bryant D. Campbell and great-great granddaughter, Phoenix Harris. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Connie Barr officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Aerie Cemetery in Letts. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, July 1 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
