BHS Grad Receives Sorority Financial Gift

(Batesville, IN) – Beta Sigma Phi sorority recently presented a $1,200 financial assistance check to a Batesville High School graduate.

Maggie Beiser, the daughter of Kathryn Beiser of Oldenburg, plans to attend the University of Cincinnati to study Interior Design.

Each year, Beta Sigma Phi sorority gives out this financial award to a local graduate.

This sorority is an international service organization founded in Kansas in 1931.

The local Theta Nu chapter was formed in 1963 and has contributed to the Batesville community through service, donations, and fundraisers.

Profits from the sorority’s annual Holiday Bazaar is used for numerous donations throughout the year, along with this financial assistance.
