Bulldogs JV Track & Field EIAC Meet Recap

The Batesville JV Track and Field Team traveled to South Dearborn for the JV Conference meet Saturday morning.  Although the sun was shining, it was a very windy day.  Despite these conditions, many of the Bulldogs were able to place in the top 8 and we also had several personal records set.  This was not a team-scored meet, but top 8 places were awarded.  Batesville had two individuals receiving the championship honors and they were: Jade Martin in the 100m hurdles (19.46) and Sarah Bedel in the discus (89’7″). Congratulations ladies! We also had two conference runner ups and they were: Cash Meyers in the 800m run and Jaden Basler in the 3200m run.  Way to go!

5th place was Sarah Bedel in shot put

7th place finishes were: Kaden Maple and Addyson Weieler-800m run and finishing out in 8th place was Kaden Maple-100m dash and Mckenzie Campbell-discus

This concludes the JV season.  Next up for the varsity is Sectionals.   The girls will compete Tuesday night and the boys on Thursday, both at East Central.  Good luck Dogs!
