(West Harrison, IN) – North Dearborn Elementary School ranked first in the State of Indiana for donations raised for the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge.
Students and families at North Dearborn raised $27,245.37, which exceeded the goal of $20,000.
Last year, North Dearborn set a record when the school raised $28,920.
Other local schools that made the Top 25 donation list are:
- Bright Elementary School – $12,269.47
- Sunman Elementary School – $6,375.74
- South Decatur Elementary School – $5,998.52
The Kids Heart Challenge helps students improve their own health while raising donations for children facing heart health issues.
