Franklin County Saturday Voting Begins This Weekend

(Franklin County, IN) – Early voting prior to the May 7 primary election continues in Franklin County, with Saturday hours to be added this weekend.

Among the contested local races on the ballot, seven Republicans hope to be among three Franklin County Council At-Large candidates going into the November general election; incumbent Surveyor Rob Seig is being challenged in the GOP primary by current County Commissioner Tom Wilson; Alex Dudley is challenging longtime Circuit Court Judge Steven Cox on the Republican ballot, and there are two GOP candidates a piece in Brookville Town Council Wards 1, 3, and 5.

Registered voters may cast early votes in the Clerk’s Office at the Courthouse in Brookville Monday thru Friday from 8:30 to 4 until May 3, with extended Thursday hours until 7 p.m. on April 25 and May 2.

Saturday voting hours are set from 8-3 at the Clerk’s Office, Ignite Church in Batesville (formerly known as Church on Fire) and the New Trenton Volunteer Fire Department.

The last day to vote in person absentee is Monday, May 6 between 8 a.m. and Noon.
