(Dearborn/Aurora Counties, IN) – One person was arrested following a high speed police chase through Dearborn and Ripley counties.
The pursuit started Friday morning after a suspicious vehicle was reported on U.S. 50 in Aurora.
The chase continued westbound on 50 through Dillsboro and Elrod with the driver reportedly reaching speeds over 100 mph.
The suspect ditched the vehicle and fled on foot along South Friendship Road and was cornered about an hour after the pursuit started.
The name of the suspect and the charges against them haven’t been released.
