(Cross Plains, IN) – One person was treated following a two-vehicle collision in Cross Plains Sunday afternoon.
Rescue crews were called around 2:40 pm after a southbound vehicle on the 8,000 block of State Road 129 left the road, struck a culvert, a sign and the back of parked vehicle before crossing the road and coming to rest on the northbound shoulder.
A passenger in the southbound vehicle was treated at the scene and refused transport to the hospital.
The parked vehicle was unoccupied.
The accident remains under investigation.
Responding agencies included the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, the Friendship Volunteer Fire Department, Ripley County EMS, Indiana State Police and the Holton Police Department.
