Joyce L. Meyer, age 95, was born on January 11, 1929 in Batesville, Indiana to Irvin and Edna (Miller) Huneke. She passed away on February 6, 2024 at Margaret Mary Health.
Joyce was employed by the Lindemann Company of Batesville in clerical and administrative roles. She worked for the company for approximately 50 years. Joyce was a longtime member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church in Batesville and graciously gave of her time to assure the church had beautiful flowers each year. Joyce loved gardening and spending time outdoors. She was always happiest at home.
Joyce is survived by her son Steven D. Meyer of Osgood; her sister Janice (Ray) Collins of Batesville and her brother, Wayne Huneke of Clearwater, Florida; along with her grandchildren Adam Meyer and Jennifer Meyer. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Maxine Huneke Kerns and Lois (Huneke) Neyer, and a brother, Estal Huneke.
Visitation will be Friday from 11 am – 1 pm followed by 1:00 pm funeral services all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial will follow the services at Adams Church Cemetery in Batesville. Pastor Jill Kepler Campbell officiating.
