(Southeastern IN) – Three area schools have been named to the “Best Indiana Elementary Schools of 2024” list by U.S. News & World Report.
North Decatur Elementary was the highest ranked local school at 106th. Greensburg Elementary placed 161st, and Dillsboro Elementary in the South Dearborn School Corporation was rated 166th.
The schools were evaluated on several criteria, such as student performance on state assessments and overall learning environment.
U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking is widely considered a reliable and comprehensive assessment of the nation’s schools.
