The Greensburg boys swimming team defeated Milan 83-65 at home Monday night, while the girls were defeated 74-66. On the girls side, Brenley Jameson was a winner in the 200m freestyle and 100m backstroke. Alaina Hostetler set a personal best in a winning effort in the 50m freestyle. Emma Hostetler won the 100m freestyle. Lilly Corya won the 100m breakstroke. In the 400m freestyle relay, Jameson, Elizabeth Walden, Emma Hostetler, and Corya were victories. For the boys, Christopher Mains set a personal best in the 100m breastroke in a winning effort. Mains also won the 200m individual medley. Jake Hawkins was a winner in the 50m freestyle and 100m butterfly. Tyler Williams was a winner in the 100m freestyle. Mains, Williams, Tristen Hostetler, and Jake Hawkins were winners in the 200m freestyle relay. Jake Taylor earned a victory in the 100m backstroke. The 400m freestyle relay team of Hostetler, Joe Hawkins, JR Fresemeier, and Taylor were also victorious. The swim teams take a holiday break until January 6 when they participate in the Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference meet at East Central. Action begins at 10 a.m.
