Patricia J. “Pat” (Hice) Gilday, 77, of Moores Hill passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side. Pat was born on Wednesday, October 2, 1946 in Alabama; daughter of Walter and Pearl Ruby (Hice) Hice, stepdaughter of Ted Toth. Pat married the love of her life, Thomas “Tom” Gilday Sr., on September 14, 1963, and he preceded her on February 8, 2022. Pat worked in housekeeping at Argosy Casino for 20+ years. She enjoyed gardening and going to car shows. Most of all Pat loved to spend time with her family.
Pat will be missed by her sons Tom (Paula) Gilday Jr. of Milan and Richard (Tonya) Gilday Sr. of Moores Hill; daughter Lisa Train of Fremont, Michigan; brother Michael Toth of Hamilton, Ohio; sister Robbin Hancock of Cleves, Ohio; grandchildren Tim (Jen) Fields, Michael (Ashton) Train, Christina (Curt) Train-Rice, Adam (Stacey) Gilday, Megan (Henry) Ridner, and Richard Gilday Jr.; and 11 great- grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Pearl Hice; stepfather Ted Toth; husband Thomas “Tom” Gilday Sr.; son-in-law Mike Train; and grandson Danny Staten.
There are no services. Memorials may be given in honor of Pat to Margaret Mary Hospice.
