North Decatur played host to the 6-2 Wildcats of Franklin County on Thursday night and came away with a solid 53-47 victory to improve to 6-4 on the season. The Chargers led from start to finish the contest and held on late in the game. North Decatur shot the ball particularly well with seven different scorers in the game. Madi Allen led the team with 18 points and was 6/8 from the line. Ella Kunz dropped in 15 points and Kelsey Haley chipped in 7 points. Clare Kinker added 6 points in the contest while Carmen Thackery drilled a second-quarter 3-pointer. Sydney Rohls and Jo Whitaker both added a pair to conclude the scoring on the night.
The Lady Chargers will in action next Tuesday at Jac-Cen-Del.
