Barbara Silcott, 74, of Versailles passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Silver Memories Healthcare in Versailles. Barbara was born Tuesday, March 22, 1949 in Covington, Kentucky; daughter of Ralph and Irene (Caddell) Silcott. Barbara worked as a computer assistant at Procter and Gamble. Barbara enjoyed working on puzzle books such as word search, playing cards, playing bingo, and crocheting. Barbara most of all enjoyed spending time reading her books.
Barbara will be missed by her sister Irma Kreimer of Milan; niece Cathy (Jason) Hughes of Osgood; great niece Becca (Allie) Meister of Osgood; cousins Paul Meyer of Cincinnati, Mark Caddell of Boston, Carol Roark, and Susan Roeder; both of Erlanger, Kentucky, and several other cousins; Shirley Baker at Sentry Service; best friend Bridgette Regenscheid of Versailles; as well as the residents and staff of Silver Memories Healthcare in Versailles.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law James “Jim” Kreimer; and nephew Michael McCarty.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Barbara from 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A graveside service will be held at 12:45 PM at the Batavia Union Cemetery; 491 Cemetery Ln, Batavia, OH 45103. Memorials may be given in honor of Barbara to the Silver Memories Activity Fund.
