The Batesville High School varsity girls basketball team posted a 48-32 win at Union County. Batesville outscored the Patriots in each of the four quarters. The BHS lead was 21-14 at halftime and later 34-24 at the end of the third quarter. The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Sophie Gesell with 15 points and Alyson Peters with 10. Marlee Obermeyer, Lydia Haskamp, and Sydney Campbell each scored six. Batesville moved to 2-1 on the season.
