(Sunman, IN) – Sunman residents are being advised to be on the lookout for a pest control business that is soliciting in town without a permit.
The Town of Sunman says a representative of Hawx Pest Control was approached by a town employee who notified him that he needed to apply for a permit at the Town Hall.
Officials say the solicitor continued knocking on doors and was approached again.
Because he disregarded the permit ordinance after being warned, he was denied a permit to solicit when he eventually attempted to apply.
If you see him around town, Sunman officials ask that you report the solicitor by calling the Town Hall at (812) 623-2066.
In addition, town officials say if a solicitor knocks on your door, always ask to see their permit.
