(Batesville, IN) – The City of Batesville will observe National Night Out on Wednesday, August 2 from 5:30 until 7:30 pm at Liberty Park.
The free, family-friendly event will be put on by the Batesville Police Department, the Coalition for a Drug Free Batesville, and Batesville Fire and Rescue.
National Night Out is an annual event designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime efforts and send a message that the community is organized and fighting back.
Batesville PD is taking the lead in planning this year’s event.
