(Westport, IN) – A mobile home fire on Sycamore Street in Westport Friday evening caused extensive damage to the single-wide and displaced the residents.
Crews from the Westport, Letts, and Marion Township fire departments were able to quickly knock down the flames.
There were no injuries reported.
The family was not home at the time of the blaze and is being assisted by the Red Cross.
Other assisting agencies included Decatur County Communications, the Westport Police Department, the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, Letts EMS, and Duke Energy.
