(Osgood, IN) – A free screening of “The Best We’ve Got: The Carl Erskine Story” will take place tonight (Wednesday, May 10) at 7 o’clock at the Damm Theater in Osgood.
The film tells the story of former Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher and Anderson native Carl Erskine’s role in establishing the Special Olympics movement in Indiana.
The screening is free, thanks to the Osgood and Versailles Lions clubs.
Both organizations bought out the theater for tonight to thank the community for supporting their food booths at the Ripley County Fair and the Versailles Pumpkin Show each year.
Doors open at 6:30.
