The Chargers boys varsity golf team traveled to Hillcrest CC to play the Batesville Invitational on Saturday. The weather was
great and North Decatur was able to post their lowest 18-hole score of the year, despite the tough venue.
Mt. Vernon won the Invitational with a score of 320. North Decatur finished in 5th with a score of 354.
Carson Parmer led the team with a 5th place score of 79 (+9). Jack Koehne ended the day with a score of 90, Owen Eldridge shot 91, Cooper Parmer provided the fourth score with a 94, and Austin Gould ended with a 110.
The Chargers play again on Monday at Clifty Creek versus Hauser and Edinburgh.
