India’s RBI single in 10th inning leads to 2-1 win over Padres

It took extra innings late last night, but the Cincinnati Reds got the win over the Padres 2-1, thanks to Jonathan India’s go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 10th inning.

The Reds trailed 1-0 from the 3rd inning until the 8th when Jake Fraley knocked in a run on a single to right field to tie the game.

India’s RBI single in the top of the 10th that knocked in Matt Reynolds would give Cincinnati a 2-1 edge.

After a walk in the bottom of the inning, Alexis Diaz would close the door on the game, striking out two of the final three batters he faced to give the Reds their 13th win of the season.

Cincinnati’s record now sits at 13-17.

TJ Friedl led the Reds in hits going 3-5.
