Nadine (Bruce) Meyer of Aurora passed away at the age of 85 at Majestic Care of Connersville on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Nadine was born on Tuesday, July 5, 1937 in Milan, Indiana, daughter of the late Elvin and Myrtle (Hall) Bruce. She married the love of her life, Harold “Leck” Meyer, on June 17, 1955 and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2013. Nadine was a member of the Mt. Sinai Methodist Church and the Wilmington Hills Wesleyan Church both of Aurora. She worked in the cafeteria for the South Dearborn School Corporation for 35 years. Nadine worked on the farm, tending her flower gardens, loved to travel, and enjoyed dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Nadine will be lovingly remembered by her sons Justin Meyer (Jackie) of Aurora and Kevin Meyer (Jane) of Osgood; and six grandchildren.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Myrtle, brother Gerald Bruce, sister Elverna Murray; daughter Shana Holtkamp, and son-in-law Harry Holtkamp.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Nadine from 10 AM-11 AM, Friday, April 28, 2023 at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill. A service will immediately follow at 11 AM with Pastor Jeff Burdsall officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, State Road 350, Aurora, IN, 47001. Memorials may be given in honor of Nadine to Mt. Sinai Methodist Church, Wilmington Hills Wesleyan Church, or the Alzheimer Association.
