(Batesville, IN) – The grand opening and ribbon-cutting for both the Batesville Skatepark and Outdoor Adventure and Batesville Trails will take place tomorrow (Saturday, April 22) beginning at 1 pm at the Skatepark on Pohlman Street next to The Plex and Gillespie Soccer Fields.
The timeline of tomorrow’s events is as follows:
1 pm – Batesville Trails ribbon cutting
1:15 pm – Skatepark ribbon cutting
1:30 pm – Large donor appreciation
1:45 pm – Speech by Batesville Mayor Mike Bettice
2 pm – Music by The Reys; Open Skate, and Batesville Lions Club tree giveaway
2-3 pm – Future project booths.
Several food trucks will be available throughout the event.
If case of inclement weather, the ribbon-cutting ceremonies will be moved to the Liberty Park Pavilion.
