Mrs. Linda Lee (Lapp) Stotridge, age 77, of near Moorefield, Indiana, passed away at 8:59 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Linda was born on March 31, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the daughter of the late, Richard and Frances (Martin) Lapp. She was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she graduated from Central High School. Linda was united in marriage on July 23, 1983 to Clyde Stotridge in New Trenton, Indiana. Linda was employed for Campbell Hausfield in Harrison, Ohio and the US Shoe Factory in Harrison, Indiana. Linda was later employed for Rising Star Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana. Linda moved to Switzerland County in 1982 where she resided until her passing. Linda enjoyed watching TV, bird watching and feeding wildlife.
Linda is survived by her husband, Clyde Stotridge of near Moorefield, IN; her sons, Kenny “Snoop” Brabant and his companion, Carrie of Brookville, IN and William Brabant of Howell, MI; her daughter-in-law, Kasey Brabant of near Moorefield, IN; her 6-grandchildren and 2-great-grandchildren; her sister, Janet Townsend of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; her brother-in-law, Noel Trout of Fort Thomas, KY and her several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Frances (Martin) Lapp; her son, Shawn Patrick Brabant, Sr., died January 13, 2019; her granddaughter, Alicia Brabant, died in 1995; her sisters, Helen Ann Trout and Donna Lacey; her brother, Richard Lapp, Jr. and her daughter-in-law, Terry Brabant.
Private Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at her home.
