Decatur County, IN — Decatur County Republican Party Chairman Nate Harter has called a caucus for Thursday, March 30 at 5 pm at the Emergency Operations Center on Ireland Street to fill a pair of vacancies.
One of those was created by the recent passing of District 1 County Commissioner Chuck Emsweller, while the other vacancy is the result of Brenda Dwenger’s resignation as Decatur County Republican Party Treasurer.
To be considered, interested parties must submit a notarized form CEB-5 to Harter at 506 Washington Street in Greensburg or by emailing nharter10@gmail.com by 4:59 pm on March 27.
Commissioner candidates must live in either Fugit, Saltcreek, or Washington townships.
