North Decatur boys basketball’s state tournament dreams came to a halt Saturday night, falling to the #1-ranked Linton-Stockton Miners 62-33 in a 2A Regional Championship game at Memorial Gym in Huntingburg.
The Chargers kept it close early on, trailing by just 6 at halftime. However, Linton-Stockton came out ready to play in the second-half, outscoring North Decatur 40-17 in the 2nd half to come out with their first Regional Championship since the 2018-19 season.
Lance Nobbe scored a team high 17 points for the Chargers.
