The North Decatur Chargers built an early lead against the host school Friday night at the 2A South
Ripley Sectional and held on to it, defeating the Raiders 44-37 in a sectional semi-final.
The Chargers got out to an early 14-7 lead by the end of the first quarter and would eventually build it up to a 12 point advantage by the end of third. The Raiders attempt at a comeback would ultimately fall short, resulting in the 44-37 loss.
Leading all scorers for North Decatur was Kaden Muckerheide with 18 points. South Ripley’s leading scorer was Blaine Ward with 15.
