Southeastern IN — The area will be under a Flood Watch from 1 am Friday through 1 o’clock Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service says moderate to heavy rain will overspread the area late tonight and persist through Friday.
Rainfall totals of two to three inches are forecast, with locally higher amounts possible.
Excessive runoff may result in the flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
You should keep an eye on the weather and be prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding occur or a Flash Flood Warning is issued.
You’re advised to avoid low-lying areas and be careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.
