Greensburg, IN — Farmers Feeding the Flock announced at Saturday’s Ag Day Breakfast at the Greensburg High School Agricultural Center that Dick and Carolyn Fogg with Fogg Family Farms will donate a 30-acre soybean field this year for the annual fundraiser on behalf of Greensburg Community Bread of Life.
This is the sixth year for this popular and highly successful fundraiser to help the Bread of Life meet the needs of those in the community who are dealing with food insecurity.
“Farmers, city people, young and old work together for the success of this fundraiser,” Farmers Feeding the Flock organizer Merrill Smith told the crowd. “Many of our high school student organizations have also been good supporters.”
Last year, Farmers Feeding the Flock raised $61,000, bringing the total amount benefiting the Greensburg Community Bread of Life so far to $232,608.48.

The keynote speaker at Saturday morning’s Ag Day Breakfast was Agribusiness Council of Indiana President and CEO Bruce Kettler, who is also a former Indiana State Agriculture Director.
The event was presented by the Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce and the breakfast was provided by Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
