Greensburg, IN — Greensburg Meals on Wheels “Dancing With The Stars” returned Thursday evening at the Community Church of Greensburg.

It was the first one post-pandemic, with the last event held in 2020 right before the shutdowns.

This year’s theme was “Best of the Best,” with former competitors from past years brought back to compete one more time.

The 2023 winners were Josh Snapp and Mary Davis.

Snapp and Davis explained why Meals on Wheels means so much to them.

“It’s a great program. We love to raise money for them and that’s just what we do,” Snapp said.

“It doesn’t have an age gap, so anybody is welcome to use it and I think it’s a great asset to this community,” Davis added.

Meals on Wheels Executive Director Diana Robbins reacted to Thursday night’s event.

“It was great, it was another wonderful evening,” Robbins said. “The community really stepped up and supported Meals on Wheels as they do.  It was an awesome, awesome night and you fret and you stress (while planning and organizing) and it always comes together and it’s always a fun event. I can’t thank the volunteers who help put it together and the dancers, and it was just ‘The Best of the Best!”

This year’s Dancing with the Stars raised in excess of $ 7,200 on behalf of Greensburg Meals on Wheels.
