Family was very important to Maria and she dearly loved baby-sitting her grandkids. Her family praised her as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. She was an accomplished seamstress as well as an exceptional cook. No matter what she made, it was all good, especially her tamales, mole and empanadas. She made sure you never left hungry.
She is survived by her husband Salvador; daughters Martina Blanco of La Barca-Jal, Mexico, Lorena Blanco and Carmen Blanco, both of Batesville; sons Ramon Blanco of Batesville, Guillermo Blanco of Sunman; four sisters, one brother, 32 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
