Harry Lawrence Wells Sr., 65, of Dillsboro passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his home with his loving family by his side. Harry was born on Monday, October 21, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio; son of Donald “Don” and Lillian (Vonderhaar) Wells. Harry married the love of his life, Sandy (Hughes) Wells, on August 10, 1996, and she preceded him in death on June 13, 2020. Harry was a forklift operator for GMZ. Harry enjoyed golfing, camping, shooting, and being outdoors.
Harry will be missed by his sons Matthew (Danielle Hopkins) Suttman of Dillsboro, Steven (Sara Ingram) Suttman of Cincinnati, Harry (Alex) Wells Jr. of Patriot; daughter Adrienne (Scotty) Stocker of Bethel, Ohio; brothers John (Renee) Wells of Cincinnati, Robert Wells of Milford, and Gary Wells of Osgood; and grandchildren Memphis Kinnett, Harry Wells III, Rex Wells, and Eloise Wells.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents Don and Lillian Wells; wife Sandy Wells; and brother Donald Wells.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given in honor of Harry to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
