Ripley County, IN — The Ripley County Clerk’s Office has released the list of candidates who have filed to run in city and town elections this year.
The following are on the ballot in the City of Batesville:
- John Irrgang (R) Mayor
- Bradley Bergquist (R) City Judge
- Paul Gates (R) Clerk-Treasurer
- Gerald (Jerry) Ertel (R) City Council District 1
- Beth Enneking (R) City Council District 3
- Brad Dreyer (R) City Council District 4
- Melissa Tucker (R) City Council At-Large
- Darrick Cox (D) City Council District 1
No one filed before the deadline in Batesville City Council District 2.
The following are on the ballot in the Town of Sunman:
- Cheryl Taylor (R) Clerk-Treasurer
- Nancy Dobson (R) Clerk-Treasurer
- Donald Foley (R) Town Council At-Large
- David Laine (R) Town Council At-Large
- Randall Zins (R) Town Council At-Large
- Carol Eckstein (R) Town Council At-Large
The following are on the ballot in the Town of Napoleon:
- Shirley Meyer (R) Clerk-Treasurer
- Ron Reynolds, Jr. (R) Town Board
- Stephen Youngman (R) Town Board At-Large
- William Vankirk (R) Town Board At-Large
- Judy Mulford (R) Town Board At-Large
Sunman and Napoleon will not have primaries but will instead hold town conventions. Dates, times, and locations will be determined by the Ripley County Republican Party chairman.
