Southeastern IN — Fog and a wintry mix are possible as you head out the door.
Forecasters say visibilities of a quarter of a mile or less are possible, and a mix of light snow, freezing rain, and rain is expected to overspread the area.
Widespread fog will be observed across the area this morning, lowering visibilities to less than one mile at times. Patchy dense fog with visibilities of one-quarter mile or less will also be possible through mid-morning.
A wintry mix of light snow, freezing rain, and rain will overspread the region after sunrise. Any accumulation will be light but a few slick spots may develop, especially on bridges and overpasses.
Motorists should use extra caution throughout the morning commute.
Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and allow additional time to reach your destination due to the reduced visibilities and possible slick spots.
