Last night, the 5th grade Lady Cardinals faced a seasoned St. Mary’s Wildcat team. The Lady Cardinals started out slow, but
after shaking off some nerves, they started to show how tough the team will be as the season progresses. St. Mary’s jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The girls fought hard but eventually lost to a more experienced team. The Lady Cardinals points came from Katie Hammond with 2 points, Norah Hermesch and Calire Baker with one point each.
The Lady Cardinals hit the court again tonight at home versus St. Michael’s.
