The Ohio River Valley Conference released its weekly report for the period ending January
14th.
The Milan Girls and Boys swim teams captured the ORVC Team Championships this past weekend.
On the girls side for Milan, Ariel Haessig won the 100-yd free (58.32) and the 100-yd back (1:04.5). Milan was also able to win the 200-yd free relay (1:53.56) and 200-yd medley relay (2:06.48).
South Ripley’s Elizabeth McKittrick was the ORVC Champion in the 50-yd free (26.02).
On the boys side, Milan was able to win conference championships in 5 individual races. Dylan Thomas was the top swimmer in the 100-yd free (23.63) and 100-yd back (54.16). Matthew Vaughn won the 200-yd free (1:57.72). Parker Sutherlin was the champion of the 500-yd free (5:25.77). Parley Hartwell was the top swimmer in the 200-yd IM (2:21.56).
The Milan boys were also champions in the 200-yd free relay (1:46.91), 200-yd medley relay (1:51.56), and the 400-yd free relay (3:58.80).
