The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its weekly report for the period ending December 31.
Congratulations to ORVC Players and Performers of the Week from Ripley County schools.
Julia Meyer from Jac-Cen-Del shares Girls’ Basketball Player of the Week honors with Southwestern’s Ashley Fulton. In three games, Meyer scored 36 points, pulled down 23 rebounds, dished out 7 assists, connected on 5 three-pointers, and had 2 steals.
South Ripley’s Cole Henry is the Boys’ Basketball Player of the Week. Henry scored a total of 103 points, grabbed 34 rebounds, blocked 9 shots, and handed out 7 assists in four games.
Henry’s Raider teammate Blaine Ward scored 101 points, brought in 20 rebounds, had 14 assists, and 5 steals in 4 games
