The 7th grade Batesville Middle School boys’ basketball hosted the South Dearborn Knights where they were victorious 50-26. The Bulldogs got out to a great start and never looked back. Camden Kaiser scored the first points for the bulldogs and then Carson Meyer hit a three to really motivate the bulldogs. The dogs led at half 27-14. The Second half started out just like the first half, where the dogs put on the pressure and caused turnovers. Great Defensive by Eli Denni and Liam Wagner to keep the knights from only scoring 6 points in the 4th quarter. The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Carson Meyer with 16, Kaiser with 12, Jackson Peetz with 9, Winston Garrett with 4, Liam Wagner, Brody Mauk, and Levi Hunt with 2 points. The Bulldogs are now 8-7 on the season and will face Milan on Thursday night.
