Greensburg- The JV Lady Chargers continued their mid-season success, this time at home in the newly refurbished gym. The JV squad opened up the new gym defeating South Ripley 42-28 to move to (5-4) on the season.
Leading the JV squad tonight was Kacie Ogden with 14 points. Ogden found several nice dribble drive opportunities and cut hard to the middle of the floor to find multiple open looks to score.
Ally Whitaker played excellent defense all night and impacted the game on both ends of the floor. She chipped in 11 points.
Sydney Rohls and Jo Whitaker both contributed with 6 points on the night. Whitaker drilled two three-pointers at critical times in the second half when South Ripley tried to have a comeback bid.
Brook Mauer knocked in 5 points of her own to round out the scoring column for the Lady Chargers.
Free throw shooting showed continued improvement as the team went 7/10 on the night.
The girls are back in action on Thursday as they travel to Oldenburg.
