The 7th grade Boys Basketball played host to the Connersville where they found themselves on the loosening end 30-40. The Bulldogs got off to a slow start on both ends of the ball and found themselves trailing early 11-0. The Bulldogs regrouped after a time out and started to show a sign of life. After giving up 13 points in the first quarter, the Bulldogs had a couple of great stops on the defensive that lead to points and would find themselves trailing at half 10-20. The third quarter was not a friend for the Dogs where the offensive was held to 5 points, but the defense kept the dogs in the game. The Bulldogs would hit three and two quick buckets to bring the gap to 7 points, but with time running out the Bulldogs couldn’t catch up and would eventually fall to the Spartans.
Leading in all scores was Carson Meyer with 12, Winston Garrett with 5, Jackson Peetz with 4, Levi hunt with 3, Eli Denni, Brody Mauk, and Camden Kaiser with 2 points. The Bulldogs are now 5-3 on the season and head to North Decatur Tuesday night.
