Howard Benjamin Kuster, 90, of Lawrenceburg passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at home. Howard was born Friday, November 18, 1932 in Gunpowder Creek, Kentucky; son of Benjamin and Maude (Ford) Kuster. Howard served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a farmer and enjoyed gardening. Howard also enjoyed playing scratch-off lottery tickets, watching westerns, and riding his bike every day. He was also known for crafting and making gadgets of his own. Howard enjoyed spending time with his family most of all.
Howard will be missed by his daughter Sheree Kuster of Lawrenceburg; brother Harry Kuster of Milford, Ohio; sister Annamae Kinnett of Frankton, Indiana; grandchildren Nickolas and Alicia Hudson of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and Thomas Kuster of Indiana; great-grandchildren Gabriel Kuster, Kalyb Selmeyer, Karygan Selmeyer, Keltyn Selmeyer, and Colston Kuster; great-great-grandchildren Kingston, Aubrey, and Everleigh; and niece Debi Jones.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin, and Maude Kuster; the mother of his daughter, Pauline; and brother Russell Kuster.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Howard from 9-10 AM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at 10 AM with Pastor Bob Northcutt officiating and military honors provided by American Legion Northcutt-Laaker Post #292, Dillsboro. Memorials may be given in honor of Howard to the family.
