Franklin County, IN — Franklin County’s Whitewater Canal Trail was named the 2022 Project of the Year at the Regional Trails Summit held recently at Northern Kentucky University.
The purpose of the trail is to foster activities that concentrate on outdoor recreation, historical preservation, and natural resource conservation along the canal corridor.
The trail runs from the Laurel Feeder Dam through Metamora and onto Brookville.
