The 8th-grade boy’s basketball team went on the road to South Ripley Tuesday night and lost a hard-fought game by the score of 48 to 41. There were many lead changes throughout the game with the Bulldogs holding a 25 to 23 lead at the half. Unfortunately, the Raiders ended up with a 4-point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter and never looked back.
Leading the Bulldogs in scoring for the night was Kamryn Holcomb with 8 points, Caleb Laker with 5, Carson Hartley with 8, Cole Abrams with 4, James Hughes with 12, Preston Blessing with 2, and Braydin Hughes with 2.
The Bulldog’s record for the season stands at 2 wins and 1 loss. They will look to get back on track this Thursday as they host St. Louis for their first home game of the year.
