Varsity Lady Chargers are now 20-4 on the season after defeating the Hauser Jets Tuesday evening. Beating Hauser also advanced the team to 4-0 in the conference! The Chargers played with intensity and consistency to come out on top early. Our big offense shut down the Hauser Jets. Great win Chargers!
Madelyn Bohman played a great game with 14 kills, 5 assists and 12 digs. Sami Luttel hustled to set up 45 assists, pick up 18 digs and put away 2 aces on the night. Caroline Stapp played quick and aggressively to put away 17 kills and pick up 24 digs. Madi Allen put away 11 kills and 1 ace. Ella Kunz had 8 kills and Sydney Rohls put away 7 kills. Defenders, Hannah Gorrell and Aubrey Kennelly picked up 12 and 10 digs, respectively. Nice job ladies!
The JV Team lost in 2 against Hauser (22-25, 20-25). The team played well but needed a little more communication and intensity to pull out the win.
Claire Kinker set up 9 assists. Gabi Adams put away 3 kills. Kelsey Haley served up 3 aces and picked up 10 digs. Oakley Freely contributed 2 aces and 4 digs. Ally Whitaker, Kelsey Haley, and Brooker Mauer contributed 1 kill each.
The Charger Volleyball team will play Waldron at home on Thursday night for their next conference match. Come out to cheer on your Lady Chargers!
